Honne Pondokkies

Honne-Pondokkies is situated in the remote village of Hondeklipbaai on the Namaqualand coast, where peace and tranquillity are a way of life. Here all visitors are free to meander along a picturesque 14 km shoreline. The Honne-Pondokkies are situated approximately 300 meters from the beach. Accommodation is provided in a choice 7 self-catering units with distant views of the ocean from the patios or the camping site. There are 6 units which feature a TV each, with selected DStv channels. All the units are fully equipped with gas stove, gas oven, fridge-freezers, and microwaves. Each unit has its own braai area and there is also a braai room for the rainy days. The campsite consists of 6 camping stands, each with their own braai facilities, a tap with running water, electrical points and lights. It also has communal ablution facilities. Enjoy a sundowner on the patio while watching a beautiful sunset. There are 2 large boma's at the camping area. There is also a communal dining area that services a warm breakfast at an additional cost. A beautiful swimming pool and braai area are available for the enjoyment of the whole family. All kiddies may enjoy the entertainment at the fun park. All 7 units are pet-friendly but at the pet owner's own risk. Hondeklip Bay is approximately 90 km on a gravel road from Garies and 200 km from Springbok. Petrol and diesel are available in Koiingaas, which is approximately 22 km from Hondeklipbaai. Guests will find 3 restaurants in this quaint village.
